PRAY THIS SPECIAL PRAYER NOW
New School Year
Father, it is time for students to return to school. We know that You walk with them into each classroom, and You open minds to learn. Please help students recognize the value of their education and the merit of rigorous training in school. May they be diligent in their studies and curious of the wonderful world around them.
I also pray for godly men and women of integrity to be their teachers. Grant these adults a fear of the Lord and divine wisdom so that they may walk in the ways of reverence and purity honoring Your Name. May they consider their role of teacher as a high calling to serve You. I pray this in Jesus Name.
Amen

Pray for ISIS Members

Jesus, You alone died for the ISIS’s salvation and I raise the banner of Your love over them right now, and proclaim that they have been purchased by Your sacrifice. Special Prayer
Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again... John 4:13-14
Lord, open my eyes to recognize people who are hurting. Tune my ears to hear their cry. Despairing souls are longing for a different life, a new beginning. Women feel riddled with guilt and shame. Men live with tragic pasts of their own making. Forgotten people are hoping for someone to take an interest in them. They yearn to know real love through a kind face, a gentle voice, a friendly smile, and a caring word. They are thirsty and are hoping to have their thirst quenched. Use me Lord. I will offer them your gift of living water. Amen

Philippians 4:5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Dear Lord, thank you for the gentle way that you deal with me. When I am confused, you do not criticize. You lead. When I am upset, you do not yell and increase my tears. You have compassion and calm me. When I am sad and depressed, you wipe away my tears. Lord, as I learn from you, may I be gentle with those that you bring into my life, through Jesus. Amen.

An anonymous Confederate soldier wrote,
I asked God for strength that I might achieve; I was made weak, that I might learn to serve. I asked for health, that I might do great things; I was given infirmity, that I might do better things. I asked for wealth, that I might be happy; I was given poverty, that I might be wise. I asked for power, that I might earn the praise of men; I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life; I was given life, that I might enjoy all things. I got nothing I asked for, but all I hoped for. Despite myself, my prayers were answered. And I am, among all men, most richly blessed.
So can we be. This is the promise of God.

I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return. 2 Timothy 1:12 NLT
Heavenly Father, we release to You the burdens that we have been carrying, burdens that You never intended for us to carry. We cast all our cares upon You—all our worries, all our fears. You have told us not be anxious about anything, but rather to bring everything to You in prayer with thankfulness.
Father, calm our restless spirit, quiet our anxious heart, still our troubling thoughts with the assurance that You are in control. With opened hands and hearts we come to You. We thank You for Your promise to sustain us, preserve us, and guard all that we have entrusted to Your keeping. Protect our hearts and minds with Your peace, the peace that passes all understanding. Father, may Your will be done in our lives, in Your time, and in Your way. Amen.

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you ( Eph. 4:32).
Our Father in heaven, thanks so much that You have allowed me another day to be an instrument in Your hands. Help me today to see people as You see them, and to respond to them as You respond. Help me to look past what they look like, past their status in life, and past their personal idiosyncrasies, and to see them as people for whom Christ died… people who have needs, people who have wants, and people who have desires. Help me in my conversation, my actions, to express the beauty of Jesus. For it is in His name that I ask this. Amen. (Tom Skinner)

Prayer of Surrender
Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass (Ps. 37:5).
Here I am, God. I want you to guide me today. Speak to my heart. Make me sensitive to your promptings and what is happening around me in the lives of those I meet. I give you my problems. Turn them into privileges. Fill me with your supernatural joy. Allow your Spirit to control my life and produce the fruit of your Spirit. Use me today for your purposes. I surrender fully to you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Children and Grandchildren
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace (Acts 20:24).
Lord, I pray that all of our children and grandchildren would view the world from your perspective while learning to share your love with all people. Work through them so they can become world Christian servant leaders. Help them to hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit amid the noise of this modern culture. Help them to see what you see, hear what you hear and act the way Jesus would act. For His sake I pray. Amen

Prayer of Commitment
“Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established” (Proverbs 16:3).
Lord, I give You this day all my relationships and privileges. I completely release everyone and everything to you. They are too much for me to handle alone. I am going to stop trying to figure everything out and let You take care of each and every thing. I want to give myself to be wholly, totally, completely, unreservedly, committed to you. I want to give you my weaknesses and challenges. I want to change for the positive, but You have to change me. Allow Your Spirit to control my life and produce the fruit of your Spirit. In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen

Prayer of Consecration
“Unto You, O Lord, do I bring my life” ( Ps. 25:1).
“Here I am, God. I give myself to You. Not just my money, but myself. Unto You, O Lord, do I bring my entire life. I lay it on Your altar. Do what You want to do with me, speak through me today. Touch people through me today. Go places on my feet today. Make a difference in my world through me today. Here’s everything about me; here are all the resources You have loaned me; I am not an owner; I’m a steward. Whatever You have let me use, God, really belongs to You, and if You need any of it back, I want to make it all available to You today. Whatever You want, wherever, whenever is what I want, Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior I pray.
Amen
